Our Kansas turkey hunts are semi-guided on private land in the Flint Hills surrounding Council Grove. This area of Kansas has three species of turkey’s that you will be hunting; Rio’s, Eastern’s and Hybrid’s. It’s not uncommon to see two species in the field at once. It's sure to be a hunt to remember!
Lodging is provided in either a local motel or a cabin where you can cook your own meals. Meals are not provided. Three full days of turkey hunting with four nights of lodging.
Upon your arrival we will get you settled in and then go for a tour of the hunting areas. You will have the opportunity to view the property and go over aerial maps that show property lines, roosting areas and other helpful tips.
Kansas Turkey Hunting Season in Unit 3
Archery, April 1st –May 31st
Shotgun (usually opens the 2nd Wed. in April)
Kansas Turkey Hunting Rates:
- $750 per hunter for two birds
- Varmints can be hunted at no extra charge during your hunt.
- Fishing is available in one of our ponds for $50 per day. Many of the ponds are loaded with crappie, bass, bluegill and channel catfish.
* In addition you must purchase the necessary permits and licenses. You must have a valid hunter’s safety card in your possession if born on or after July 1, 1957.
Kansas Turkey Hunting Tags:
Turkey tags in Kansas are available over the counter or on-line. You can find the application and more information at the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks website: www.kdwp.state.ks.us.
Additional Notes:
- 50% Deposit is required at time of booking of your hunt
- All hunts must be paid in full NO LATER THAN 30 DAYS IN ADVANCE of your scheduled hunting dates.
- Our hunting packages DO NOT include your hunting license or tags.
Your desired hunting dates can only be confirmed after we have received your 50% deposit. We must receive the deposit for YOU AND YOUR ENTIRE GROUP no later than 7 days after we have agreed on hunting dates. Otherwise, your dates will go back into the "available" status.

Cancellation Policy:
If you need to cancel you can move the deposit to the next year. Your deposit will not be refunded if you won't move it to the next year. If a member of your party does not show up for the hunt 100% of the price will still be due.
Book early to get the most desirable dates! Many of our returning clients book the majority of our limited dates a year in advance.

- Transportation to and from pasture. 4WD advised.

- Limit: Two bearded turkeys in the Spring
- Release of Liability needs to be signed upon arrival
